On 25 August 2026, IOMed Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng had a meeting with Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Chairman of the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council (APRC) and Chairman of the Chulalongkorn University Council, at the Chulalongkorn University during her visit to Thailand.
The two sides discussed how IOMed and the APRC may work together to promote peace through mediation, and exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
