On 9 June 2026, IOMed Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng visited the national oil company of Algeria SONATRACH Group, and met with its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Nour Eddine DAOUDI.
On the same day, Prof. Teresa Cheng also had a meeting with Mr. Hamid Khemliche, Chief Executive Officer of the Cosider Group, in Algiers.
Prof. Cheng introduced to Mr. Daoudi and Mr. Khemliche the mission and vision of IOMed as well as the advantages of its mediation services, and encouraged SONATRACH and Cosider to incorporate mediation into their dispute resolution policy.
Both companies recognized the value of mediation as an amicable means of dispute resolution. They welcomed the establishment of IOMed and expressed willingness to explore collaboration in the future.
