On 11 June 2026, during her visit to Morocco, IOMed Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng made a courtesy call on the Honorable Mohamed ABDENNABAOUI, First President of the Court of Cassation and Delegated President of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary.
Mr. Abdennabaoui shared with Prof. Cheng Morocco’s ongoing initiatives to promote mediation in its judicial system and strengthen training of mediators.
The two sides recognized the advantages of mediation as a peaceful, efficient and cost-effective means of dispute resolution, and agreed on the need to enhance experience sharing.
