From 22 to 23 July 2026, IOMed held an online training session under the theme “Foundations of Investor-State Mediation” for participants from its Signatory States.
While giving particular attention to the State officials’ perspective in addressing investor-State disputes, the session focused on both the overview of and practical considerations in investor-State mediation, including choice of mediators and cross-cultural factors.
The participants highly commended the session for a rewarding learning experience, and applauded IOMed’s commitment to strengthening capacity building and fostering effective international mediation practices.
IOMed also announced its plan to hold an in-person training session on investor-State mediation in Hong Kong later this year.
