On 29 May 2026, IOMed received a delegation of senior officials from 13 African and Latin American countries and China at its headquarters in Hong Kong.

Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng and Deputy Secretary-General Dr. Sun Jin had an in-depth exchange of views with members of the delegation, elaborating on IOMed’s mission, vision, and latest achievements. All parties recognized the importance of peacefully settling international disputes through mediation.
