President of the Amhara Region Supreme Court of Ethiopia Visits IOMed

On 9 April 2026, Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng received the Honorable Alemante Agidew Wondimeneh, President of the Amhara Region Supreme Court of Ethiopia at the IOMed Headquarters.
 
Prof. Cheng welcomed Mr. Wondimeneh’s visit and briefed him on the latest development and future vision of IOMed. She also expressed the hope for cooperation in the field of international mediation.
 
Mr. Wondimeneh thanked Prof. Cheng for the introduction to IOMed’s unique role as an international platform for dispute resolution. The two sides also exchanged views on the value and strength of mediation as a means of peaceful settlement of disputes.
