Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China Farhod Arziev Visits IOMed

On 2 April 2026, Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng received Ambassador of Uzbekistan to China H.E. Farhod Arziev at the IOMed Headquarters.
 
Prof. Cheng expressed appreciation to Ambassador Arziev for his recent signing of the Convention on the Establishment of the International Organization for Mediation on behalf of Uzbekistan, and expressed the hope for further cooperation in the field of international mediation.
 
Ambassador Arziev thanked Prof. Cheng for the introduction on IOMed and its headquarters facilities, and exchanged views on the value of mediation as a means of peaceful settlement of disputes.
 
Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou Mr. Sultanbek Imamov and Deputy Secretary-General Dr. SUN Jin attended the meeting.
