The International Organization for Mediation (IOMed) today announced the opening of its internship program, offering eight positions for motivated young individuals to gain hands-on experience at the first inter-governmental organization exclusively dedicated to international mediation.

The three-month internships, with the possibility of extension up to six months, are available across four departments: Secretary-General’s Office, Legal and Case Administration Department, Public Relations Department, and Capacity Building Department.

Interns will work full-time, in person, at IOMed’s Secretariat in Hong Kong SAR, China. Responsibilities vary by department and include legal research, case administration, media liaison, event organization, and supporting the Secretary-General in drafting papers and speeches.
