From 1 to 7 February 2026, IOMed Secretary-General Prof. Teresa CHENG Yeuk-wah SC paid a visit to Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
During the trip, Prof. Cheng attended two interactive sessions with businesses and law professionals operating in the Gulf region, which were held under the themes of “International Organization for Mediation – Saudi Arabia Visit” and “International Organization for Mediation – Dubai Visit” respectively with assistance from local law firms and business councils.
At both sessions, Prof. Cheng gave an in-depth and comprehensive introduction to the establishment process, mediation services and vision of IOMed, and answered questions from the audience. She highlighted the relevance of IOMed to businesses and law professionals operating in the region. and encouraged them to incorporate mediation into their dispute resolution strategies.
