On 16 January 2026, Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng received Ambassador of Hungary to China H.E. Máté Pesti at the IOMed Headquarters.
Prof. Cheng briefed Ambassador Pesti on the establishing process and institutional framework of IOMed, as well as its vision and mission to promote greater use of mediation in peaceful resolution of disputes and to foster a global mediation ecosystem.
Ambassador Pesti thanked Prof. Cheng for the in-depth introduction on IOMed. He acknowledged the value of mediation as a means of dispute resolution and expressed interest in continuing exchanges with IOMed in the future.
