On 28 January 2026, Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng received Consul General of Poland in Hong Kong Mr. Michał Kołodziejski at the IOMed Headquarters.
Prof. Cheng briefed Mr. Kołodziejski on the mission and scope of cases of IOMed. She underscored that as a global public good inspired by purposes and principles of the UN Charter, IOMed will contribute to the strengthening of international rule of law, and its membership is open to all countries across the world, including countries in Europe.
Mr. Kołodziejski thanked Prof. Cheng for the informative introduction and congratulated her on the growth of IOMed membership since the signing ceremony of the IOMed Convention on 30 May 2025. He also expressed interest in continuing exchanges with IOMed in the future.
