On 12 December 2025, Secretary-General Prof. Teresa Cheng received a Swiss delegation led by Ambassador Tim Enderlin, Head of the Peace and Human Rights Division of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, at the IOMed Headquarters.
Prof. Cheng briefed Ambassador Enderlin on the establishment of IOMed, its institutional framework, and its vision and mission in promoting mediation as a tool for the peaceful resolution of disputes. The parties exchanged views on how mediation can be more effectively utilized to support peaceful settlement of conflicts and explored avenues for future collaboration, including capacity-building initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities.
