During 3 to 5 November, IOMed Secretary-General Prof. Teresa CHENG Yeuk-Wah SC visited China.
On 3 and 4 November, Secretary-General Prof. CHENG held a series of meetings with Ms. WANG Shumei, Vice-Ministerial Level Full-time Member of the Judicial Committee of the Supreme People’s Court of China; Mr. NONG Rong, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council of China; and Mr. LI Chenggang, China International Trade Representative and Vice Minister of Commerce, and others. During these meetings, she introduced the work of the International Organization for Mediation and exchanged views with the various Chinese authorities on strengthening cooperation.
On 5 November, Secretary-General Prof. CHENG attended the 2025 Global Business and Law Conference in Qingdao, China, and delivered a keynote speech titled “Leveraging Mediation Mechanisms to Enhance the Operation of Industrial Chain and Supply Chain”.
